A software system is as good as the people working with it.
Trainees will be familiarized with FIDS through extensive
on-the-job training.
Educated and trained staff is of utmost importance. First of all to the airport itself. But we see advantages for us as well: the better the users are trained, the better our system is used. This makes your staff a content customer, a fan, of our system. That’s what we have seen so far: our existing users are content and willing to spread the news to you, and more importantly, to others.
We fully acknowledge the importance of excellent training and documentation. Our systems come with extensive on the job training. For each staff group we prepared an comprehensive and dedicated training program. Think of the network engineers maintaining the system, the system operators or landside staff. Apart from the training, we provide extensive documentation material and online, webbased help information.
During the training period, trainees will be familiarized with FIDS configuration, implementation of display devices, system maintenance such as system start/stop, track and solve fault situations and system maintenance. The training would include flight schedule maintenance, how to update flight information for check-in, gate and belt assignment, flight delays, daily system operation, automatic flight maintenance, etc.
