Testing

At critical stages in the project testing will ensure the reliability of the system.

Each of our projects work with Milestone Progression Tests and detailed Test documents.

Milestone Progression Tests
The following milestone tests will be conducted:

  • Factory Acceptance Test (FAT)
  • Site Acceptance Test (SAT) including the functional testing of the System during / after transition
  • Operational Reliability Test (ORT)

Test Documents
For each of these milestone tests, the following documents will be provided:

  • Test Plan
  • Test Procedures
  • Test Report

The Test Plan will indicate the test environment, test conditions, failure criteria, format of test procedures, etc.

The Test Procedures will contain detailed test cases for each of the features provided in the system.
This document will be provided prior to the commencement of the test. The detailed test results will be recorded to indicate the results of each test case.

The Test Report is produced after the test as an overview of the software and hardware that were included in the test, a summary of failed cases, follow up actions, retests conducted, etc.
